Company

Duo Kaos is a company of contemporary circus Italo-Guatemalan born in 2009 from the meeting of Giulia Arcangeli e Luis Paredes, multifaceted artists, based in the Marche region (Italy).

The circus language and techniques, choreographic research, the symbolic value of the particular elements of the scene and the search for original music and sounds are the expressive elements of an evocative poetics. In a path of constant artistic research, in balance between tradition and experimentation, spontaneity and refinement, the company's creations are made up of visionary landscapes where not only the bodies but also the objects are protagonists and dramaturgical engines for imaginative journeys where the viewer can get lost.

In addition to the personal work of creation, in the years Duo Kaos works with various contemporary circus companies, in national and international productions.

From 2016 the company is recognized and appreciated beyond national borders with the show Time to Loop, that matters beyond 300 replicas to his credit and has been a guest at festivals and reviews around the world, among which are reported: Le Channel winter lights, Calais national stage (France), The Waves Festival (Denmark), SON – International Arts Festival(Costa Rica), FIC – International Cervantino Festival (Mexico), Humor Notes Haguenau (France),skyalst (Belgium), Escher Street Festival (LUXEMBOURG), Festival (Germany), Festival Outside Ordinary(Netherlands), Wonderpuck Festival (Romania).
