Flora
Duo Kaos
Sow a thought and you will reap an action,
sow an action and you will reap a habit,
sow a habit and you will reap a character,
sow a character and you will reap a destiny.

SYNOPSIS
Flora originates from the encounter between two realms: one is dreamlike, shaped by the slow metamorphoses and silent balances oftwo acrobats, creatures of a perfect world, of "a planet to come"; the other is the realm of appearances, of unstable perception. Here lives Ermanno, custodian and priest of an ancient temple, angry withhimself and with the gods because he is anchored to a partial vision of reality. In Flora these two universes overlap, collide, contaminate, and come to anagreement.
On one side there are two circus performers who use a non-verbal language, the result of a contamination of the acrobatic techniques of the nouveau cirquewith those of the choreographic research typical of contemporary dance. On the other there is a quick-change actress who, in addition to her body andmusic, uses words to accompany the spectator in the story.
In a nutshell: in Flora there is the circus, with its evocative power, and thetheater, with its narrative power.
The two languages are at the service of a dense, spiritual, tender story.
